I am sorry for the lengthy absence on my blog. I have diligently been working on some new patterns for Fall/Winter. I am so very excited! I have launched a new pattern line called the City Collection. The knitting patterns in this collection are named after the cities in California that have inspired them.
This is Sausalito. A chunky, short-sleeved cardigan, knitted out of Malabrigo Chunky in Pearl Ten. Inspired by the quaint town of Sauslito, just a few minutes north of San Francisco, this place has a small town feel yet super chic vibe. Although the sweater is pieced, it is very easy to assemble and quick to knit. Sausalito is an easy pattern that all levels of knitters will enjoy. This pattern is very easy to modify to fit any body type. This sweater will make a wonderful addition to your wardrobe and help stay off that cool chill in the air. Make this as a gift for you or for a loved one this upcoming holiday season. This pattern is currently in the testing phase.
Tools & Supplies:
Size US 10 Needles, circular
Malabrigo Chunky yarn (you could sub in Berroco's new Catena, Juniper Moon's Cumulus)
Tapestry needle
The Sonoma Shrug is inspired by my favorite wine town! Sonoma, in the heart of wine country, is a beautiful place that is very welcoming. It has a cozy and quaint feel and of course, wine! Sonoma is an easy to intermediate level pattern. The cable pattern across the back and ends on the sleeves. This pattern is very easy to modify to fit any body type. I hope you will enjoy making this as much as I did. This pattern is currently in the testing phase.
Tools & Supplies:
Size US 10 circulars
Tapestry needle
Chalet (As Chalet and Classic Elite Yarns are no more, I recommend Berroco's Catena or Juniper Moon's Cumulus)
Stitch Markers
I am currently working on 2 more patterns for the City Collection. I am super excited!
